We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to add to our team on a full time position. In this position, you will:

- Prepare pleadings, prepare & respond to discovery
- Draft letters and documents
- Assist in trial preparation and discovery motion practice as well as other facets of litigation
- Receive incoming documents from clients
- Compile and analyze data from records
- Organize client documents
- Prepare correspondence for mailing
- Maintain a record of the status of cases
- Maintain and update the files
- Keep the Attorneys responsible for the files advised as to the status and pending deadlines in the case
- Assist the Attorneys in responding to the deadlines in the cases
Qualified candidates must be a certified paralegal and/or have 2 years experience as a civil litigation paralegal/legal assistant.
- A Paralegal certificate and/or college degree is preferred.
- Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with lawyers, clients and staff.
- Excellent writing skills, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to multi-task, attend to details and meet deadlines is needed.
- Candidates must be a self-motivator and strong team player.
- Strong computer and word processing skills required with proficiency in TABS, Practice Master and MS Office products preferred.
